Mary Lou Slusar
Mary Lou, being a co-owner of Cabinet Showplace, has extensive experience not only with designing but with customer service and management. She takes great pride in her talented staff, as well as every project that enters the showroom. Mary Lou promotes team work and encourages bouncing off ideas to meet the needs of her clients. Having been in the design field for years, she has built many relationships that help Cabinet Showplace run seamlessly.
Denise Koczera
A Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Massachusetts, formerly the Swain School of Design, has served Denise well in her 15 year career as a Kitchen and Bath Designer. Denise also graduated from a year long NKBA program in the specifics of the industry at Lord Fairfax Community College. Denise has an eye for balance and beauty that makes her cabinet designs unique as well as functional. She finds great satisfaction in helping her clients visualize their ideas for a new home or remodel project. “A lovely design, with your budget in mind” is her goal with each project whether large or small.
Danielle Melchione, CKD
Danielle’s love for the arts and design started early on in grade school. She pursued her studies at the Maryland Institute College of Art where she earned her Bachelors in Fine Arts, majoring in Interior Design. Her career began working in Architectural Firms space planning and material selecting for embassies and banks. It wasn’t long afterwards that she continued her studies and became a Certified Kitchen Designer. Understanding of the importance of aesthetics and function working together hand in hand, she believes that her designs should reflect and enhance the life styles of her clients. Having over 20 years of experience, she is committed to delivering excellent client service.
Mindy McAvoy – Admin. Asst.
Mindy joined our team in March of 2010 to provide administrative support to the Designers, as well as, to Management. She has an Associates Degree in Business Management from Lord Fairfax Community College. She also pursued an interest in the real estate market by acquiring her Independent Real Estate Contractor license. She has over 15 years in the Administration field. She provides a full range of administrative and meeting support all while maintaining excellent customer service.
